A Cantest Preventative Maintenance Technician is a skilled technician who is adept at problem solving. Preventative Maintenance Technicians require a broad skill base including mechanical aptitude, electrical/electronic knowledge, an ability to apply mathematical formulas. This position requires both physical and mental exertion.
This position will be attractive to problem solvers, people with attention to detail, people who like new challenges or finding solutions to existing challenges, and people who like to travel and work by themselves. Candidate would be required to travel to service stations throughout Canada. Be independent, self managing, very well organized and responsible for a company work truck.
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Day
Flexible 28 day work schedule - 7 days on/7 days off, 5 days on/2 days off, 5 days on/2 days off
Salary: $50,000.00 to $60,000.00 Yearly (Consisting of base salary, commission, and Bonus.) Extensive benefit package after 1 year of employment.

Location: Airdrie, Alberta and Western Provinces
Skill Requirements:Education: Completion of high school, Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Driver's licence, TSSA Petroleum Mechanic Helper or Level 1, Standard First Aid, Confined Space Pre-entry
Experience: Will train
Languages: English (Speak, Read, Write English)
Security and Safety: Driving record check (abstract), Drug test, Criminal Record Check
Own Tools/Equipment: Safety glasses/goggles, Gloves, Steel-toed safety boots
